to protecting the privacy of those using our site and the
confidentiality of the personal information which our clients
provide us with. We follow strict security procedures in the
storage and disclosure of personal information, to prevent
unauthorized access to it. We do not sell, trade or rent your
personal information to any other companies or organizations.

where it is specifically and knowingly provided by them.
1. Information We Collect

to analyze site usage, improve our content and product offerings,
and customize our site's content, layout, and services. These
uses improve our site and better tailor it to meet your needs.
You agree that we may use your information to contact you
and deliver information to you that, in some cases, are targeted
to your interests, administrative notices, product offerings,
and communications relevant to your use of the site. By accepting
the Terms of Service and Privacy Policy, you expressly agree
to receive this information. We use your information to facilitate
the services you request. We use information in the file we
maintain about you, and other information we obtain from your
current and past activities on the site, to resolve disputes,

We offer clients the ability to review and change their information
that they submit to us. You can access and edit your personal
information that we collect from you by visiting the “Your
Account” section. We require that you provide your user
ID and password to access and/or alter any of your personal

based on your request because it is very difficult to authenticate
your account manually. You can change your user ID, email

update your information if it changes.
5. Newsletter
If you wish to subscribe to our newsletter, we require a client’s
email address. However, it is completely at your discretion

opt-out section below.

You are responsible for all actions taken with your User ID
and password, including fees. Therefore we do not recommend
that you disclose your password to any third parties. If you
choose to share your User ID and password or your information
with third parties to provide you additional services, you
are responsible for all actions taken with your user ID and
password and therefore you should review that third party's
privacy policy. If you lose control of your password, you
may lose substantial control over your personally identifiable
information and may be subject to legally binding actions
taken on your behalf. Therefore, if your password has been
compromised for any reason, you should immediately change
your password.
7. Security
This website has security measures in place to protect the
loss, misuse and alteration of the information under our control.
Security is our first priority and we are committed to maintaining
this into the future. We use industry standard practices to
safeguard the confidentiality of your personal information,
including "firewalls" and Secure Socket Layer (SSL)
technology. This technology allows us to utilize advanced
encryption in order to protect the information transmitted
between your computer and our server. Through encryption,
the personal information you enter, including your credit
card details and personal information is securely dispatched
over the Internet. We treat data as an asset that must be
protected against loss and unauthorized access. We employ
many different security techniques to protect such data from
unauthorized access by users inside and outside the company.
8. Cookies
We use data collection devices called “Cookies”,
so that our web server can recognize your computer each time
you return to this website. When you make selections or set
preferences on our site, the site will send a request to your
browser to record some of your selections in a "cookie"
file. From time to time, our site will request the cookie
from your browser so we can retrieve the stored information
so that you do not have to repeatedly enter information such
as your password. We also use cookies to help analyse web
page flow, measure promotional effectiveness, and provide
customized services to our customers. We never use cookies
to store credit card details or other confidential information.
A cookie is a small, plain text file which is sent to your
browser from a web server and is stored locally on your hard
drive. Cookies are a commonly used Internet technology and
do not compromise the security of any information. Cookies
are specific to the server that created them and cannot be
accessed by other servers. Most cookies are "session
cookies," meaning that they are automatically deleted
from your hard drive at the end of a session. Most modern
browsers support the use of cookies, and also provide the
option to disable their use. You are always free to decline
our cookies if your browser permits, although in that case
you may not be able to use certain features on our site and
you may be required to re-enter your password more frequently
during a session.
9. Choice/Opt-Out
If you no longer wish to receive our newsletter, information
about products and services and special deals, surveys, or
promotional materials from us or our partners you may opt-out
of receiving these communications by following the unsubscribe
instructions in the relevant email or by contacting us.
10. Account Deactivation
Upon your request, we will deactivate your account, contact
information, billing information, and financial information
from our active databases. Such information will be deactivated
as soon as reasonably possible based on your account activity
and in accordance with our deactivation policy and applicable
law. We will retain in our files information you have requested
to remove in some circumstances, such as to resolve disputes,
troubleshoot problems and enforce our Terms of Service. Further,
such prior information is never completely removed from our
databases due to technical and legal constraints, including
stored "back up" systems. Therefore, you should
not expect that all of your personally identifiable information
will be completely removed from our databases in response
to your requests.
11. Your Rights
In addition to the safeguards described above, your personal
data is protected by the Data Protection Act. This provides
amongst other things that the data we hold about you should
be processed lawfully and fairly. It should be accurate, relevant
and not excessive. The information should be kept up to date,
where necessary, and not retained for longer than is necessary.
It should be kept securely to prevent unauthorized access
by other people. You have the right to see what is held about
you and correct any inaccuracies online.
12. Your Consent
By submitting your information you consent to our use and
disclosure of your personal information as set out in this
Policy. Because the Internet infrastructure is global, and
it is not possible to predict the routes that information
sent over the Internet will take, the information you provide
may be transferred temporarily via a route which takes it
outside the United States area as it passes between you and
us. By submitting your information you consent to this transfer.
13. Notification of Changes
If we decide to change our Privacy Policy, we will post those
changes on this page so our clients are always aware of what
information we collect, how we use it, and under circumstances,
if any, we disclose it. If at any point we decide to use personally
identifiable information in a manner different from that stated
at the time it was collected, we will notify clients by way
of an email. The amended Privacy Policy must be accepted by
any and all participants of the HostFusion.com website and
its services. Your continued use of our service will signify
your acceptance of the updated Policy.
If you have any questions concerning our Privacy
Policy, please contact us.
