In order to start using your domain name, you will need to point your domain to our name servers. This is called a 'DNS Transfer'. There are lots of different registrars (where a domain name is registered) so you will need to go to the website of the registrar you use, in order to update your domain records to point them to our name servers. It takes about 24-48 hours after you update those records, for your domain name to 'propogate' or be usable on the Internet.
If you registered your domain name with HostFusion, your domain name will already be pointing to our servers and you will be able to update your domain name information in your control panel.
If you do not know which registry your domain name was registered with, you can lookup your domain name information here. The company your domain name is registered with is located in the "Registrar" section of the Whois Lookup results.

If you are unsure how to transfer your domain name please contact your registrar directly to ask about their domain transfer procedures. Inform them that you wish to transfer your domain to HostFusion, and provide them with our name server information shown below.

While waiting for your domain's new name server information to propagate around the Internet, we recommend maintaining your site at your current host to avoid any down time of your site. During this time, you can use the IP address that we gave you to mirror your website on our servers until the transfer is complete.
We can help you transfer your domain name at no extra charge, simply contact us and a member of staff will be happy to help you.
